Originally from France, born in 1992.

Her identity as an artist has been influenced and developed alongside her international education and career.

In parallel of working as a dancer, Rylee has been developing her work as a photographer, plastic artist, and designer, that she fully immersed herself in when she stopped her career as a dancer due to injury in 2023.

She works and performs as a model, mover or actor.

She functions as a director and art/ visual director, photographer, cameraman, editor and as a post production and visual supervisor.

An important part of Rylee’s personality and work is her link to the sexual body as well as the natural and spiritual world. The questioning -observation- of humanity’s place and behaviours in and through a political and cultural context.

She loves to observe how humans are connected to a deeper, larger entity.

Her work as an artist wants to create a surreal atmosphere, a wonderful/bizarre/intriguing universe where codes are changed and played with. A mix between dream and reality where fantasies are allowed and the body takes centre stage.

She wants to retransmit an idea of beauty, in which lies the complexity and simplicity of human beings.

Raw, desire, poetry, sexuality, sensuality, intimacy, self.

Rylee is both working for and creating with.

The director and the directed.

Max Stoces

Max Stoces is a co director and creator of the company I was about to tell you i love you , working together with his partner and artist Rylee Luna Martinez .

He functions as a director and director of photography who insures a fluid and efficient workflow throughout the entire production process and is specialised in computer generated imagery.

He also puts his attention towards the post production pipeline in things such as video editing, motion graphics, image refinement, color correction, visual effects, compositing, photography and graphic design.

He was thrown into the film industry at a very young age. Having a filmmaker as a father meant Max gained quite some experience on set and throughout his fathers entire creative process. Max quickly gained a great respect and interest in this and began creating short clips and animations from the age of 6. He gradually grew his knowledge and passion over the years, and kept adding new abilities to his repertoire.

“Me and my parter started to create together and not too long after formed our company under the name “I Was

About To Tell You I Love You”. Since then we have been crossing mediums and all our projects together have been pushing us to develop further and grow our company and art pieces.

In our artistic universe we like to mix dreamy and surrealistic imagery. As well in CGI work as in plastic art work. And we are both very interested in bodies, sexuality and relationships linked to psychology.”
